Sandol Foods Co., Ltd. (CEO: Lee Ho-seong, pictured), a member of the Gangwon Economic International Exchange Association (Ganggukhoe), a leading international exchange organization in Gangwon Province, is experiencing rapid growth, including the launch of its first mega-franchise brand.
Since its founding in February 2004, Sandol Foods has achieved remarkable business expansion and sales growth over the past 20 years, solidifying its position as a leading company in the province.
Indeed, Sandol Foods is leading the local economy, creating the province's first local franchise brand, centered around "33 Tteokbokki."
Since relocating in 2004, the company has established a research center, implementing rigorous hygiene training and quality control to ensure the production of safe food products. We are actively pursuing new product development and R&D, including HACCP certification for frozen products and voluntary items like fresh noodles and rice cakes.
Notably, "33 Tteokbokki" has been expanding into highway rest areas since September of last year. Following the rebranding of the famous tteokbokki store at the Naerincheon Rest Area in Inje in October of last year, "33 Tteokbokki" has expanded to rest areas in North Chungcheong and South Gyeongsang Province.
Furthermore, Sandol Foods has been recognized nationwide, receiving awards such as the Technology Innovation SME and Venture Company, Best Company to Work For, Women-Friendly Ilchon Company, Best SME Award, Gangwon Employment Award, and Gangwon Economic Person Award. We are also leading the way in job creation, with plans to directly employ 2,000 people and indirectly employ 5,000 people by 2030. As a result, we were selected as a Century-Old Company by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province in December of last year, receiving a certificate and plaque.
Lee Ho-seong, CEO of Sandol Foods, said, "As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we will strive to further develop and become a company that contributes to the local community."
